The Role
We’re hiring a senior, strategic Business Development leader to build and scale high-quality pipeline at Benji. You’ll be on the front lines-connecting with leading brands across airlines, hospitality, retail, and more to introduce a new way to power loyalty partnerships.
This is not a high-volume SDR role. We care deeply about precision, insight, and conversion - not activity for activity’s sake. You’ll focus on identifying the right accounts, crafting thoughtful outreach, and generating opportunities that convert into meaningful revenue.
You’ll work directly with leadership on target accounts, messaging, and pipeline strategy, with clear ownership over how we hit revenue goals.
What You’ll Do
- Own outbound strategy across a defined set of high-value enterprise accounts (airlines, hotels, retail, platforms)
- Identify and prioritize the highest probability opportunities, not just fill top-of-funnel
- Craft highly personalized outreach across email, LinkedIn, and calls
- Develop strong POVs on each account (partnership opportunities, use cases, stakeholders)
- Partner closely with Head of Growth to refine positioning and improve conversion rates
- Drive meetings that lead to qualified pipeline and closed revenue
- Continuously improve targeting, messaging, and sequencing based on results
Who You Are
- 3 - 6+ years of experience in outbound sales, business development, or partnerships (enterprise preferred)
- Proven ability to generate high-quality pipeline that converts, not just meetings
- Strong business judgment - you know what a good opportunity looks like
- Excellent communicator (clear, concise, thoughtful)
- Self starter who is comfortable operating with ownership in an early-stage environment
- Experience selling into or working with enterprise brands is a strong plus
- Strong communicator (clear, concise, and personable)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Resilient and motivated - you don’t get discouraged easily
- Interest in early-stage startups, SaaS, and/or partnerships
- AI-first mindset: Experience across frontier LLMs and GTM tooling, always running experiments, and consistently finds ways to get more done using AI
- Bonus: Experience with outbound sales tools (Apollo, Sales Navigator, HubSpot)
