Role Overview

This role is the operating engine behind HOAi’s scale. As Manager, Strategy & Operations, you’ll work across Customer Success, Sales, and Product to convert executive priorities into results: stand up systems, run the business cadence, lead high-impact initiatives, and close execution gaps wherever they appear. You’ll be expected to operate at altitude and in the weeds; designing the playbook, enforcing the metrics, and stepping in as an interim operator to get critical programs to green. You’ll thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, and create clarity for others under competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Execution

• Translate company priorities into actionable workstreams with clear deliverables, owners, and measurable impact
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve onboarding speed, customer retention, internal processes, and revenue growth
• Build repeatable systems that enable operational scale without proportional headcount growth

Business Performance & Analytics

• Own the scorecard: track key metrics across onboarding, customer success, sales, and workflow velocity; surface deltas; drive corrective actions
• Prepare leadership and board-level reporting with concise, data-driven insights; not just numbers, but what they mean and what to do next
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, root causes, and high-ROI improvements

Cross-Functional Operations

• Coordinate across Customer Success, Sales, and Product to ensure alignment, accountability, and delivery against commitments
• Identify gaps in ownership or execution and step in as interim operator or project lead until sustainable ownership is in place
• Support the stand-up of new programs, workflows, and teams, building SOPs, SLAs, and hand-off processes

Leadership & Cadence

• Help shape the internal rhythm of the business: planning cycles, communication cadences, and key deliverables, ensuring the organization operates with speed and focus
• Prepare tight, decision-ready briefs for high-stakes meetings; follow through on execution until outcomes are achieved
• Create clarity in high-ambiguity situations and keep teams focused on the few things that matter most

• Design and implement enterprise-wide security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Lead cross-functional compliance initiatives, coordinating with legal, IT, operations, and business teams to ensure comprehensive coverage
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to identify gaps and implement corrective actions
• Manage relationships with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies throughout audit and examination processes
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees and stakeholders
• Oversee incident response planning and execution, ensuring timely resolution and regulatory reporting
• Monitor regulatory landscape changes and assess impact on organizational compliance requirements
• Establish vendor risk management programs and security assessments for third-party partnerships
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all compliance frameworks and security controls
• Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on security posture, compliance status, and risk exposure

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in strategy, operations, banking, consulting, or high-growth startup leadership roles
• Proven track record leading, or contributing to, complex, cross-functional projects to measurable results
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to self-serve insights from AI tools and Excel
• Great written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complexity into actionable clarity
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in real time in a high-velocity environment
• Self-motivated and comfortable operating independently while influencing without direct authority
