Overview
Vantaca is looking for a Data Engineering Manager that wants to work in a high impact, fast-paced team that is ready to make a big impact. This individual will be responsible for helping build data products, uncover valuable business insights, and communicate key discoveries. Your work will drive better decision-making for products and customers. You will develop strong partnerships with stakeholders and work cross-functionally with product managements, engineering, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of data engineers to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Define and implement data governance, quality, and security best practices to support business units.
- Drive initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Mentor and grow the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with peers and stakeholders to define and execute roadmaps that can help the function scale.
Requirements
- Educational background in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related analytical or engineering field.
- Strong understanding of data engineering best practices, pipeline development, ETL frameworks.
- Experience with Python and SQL.
- Experience with cloud tools such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence product and business strategy at executive levels.
- Experience in designing and optimizing data warehouses.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring engineers and fostering technical excellence.
