Overview
This individual will be responsible for leading the organization's internal information systems strategy and applications, driving seamless integration across all technology platforms, and spearheading internal engineering and AI development initiatives. The Director of Information Services will oversee use of modern architectures and intelligent automation capabilities that enable business growth and operational excellence.
Accountability Key Initiatives
- Design and implement enterprise-wide systems integration strategy, establishing unified data flows and eliminating information silos across all business units.
- Lead AI and machine learning development initiatives, identifying opportunities for intelligent automation and predictive analytics across organizational processes.
- Oversee modernization of legacy information systems, ensuring seamless migration to cloud-native architectures while maintaining business continuity.
- Establish asset management and administration program for software.
- Manage internal infrastructure including internal hosting environments.
- Develop and execute API-first integration framework connecting internal systems with external partner platforms and third-party services.
- Build internal AI capabilities through platform selection, model development, and deployment of production-ready solutions.
- Establish technology governance frameworks for system lifecycle management and change control.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise architecture roadmap aligning information systems with strategic business objectives.
- Collaborate on evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise platforms systems.
- Manage integration projects ensuring real-time data synchronization across all critical business applications.
- Oversee AI/ML model development lifecycle from use case identification through production deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate on data governance policies ensuring quality, privacy, and accessibility of organizational information assets.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements.
- Coordinate with security team to ensure all systems meet security and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership during digital transformation initiatives and system modernization projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in information systems leadership with focus on enterprise integration.
- Proven track record implementing large-scale systems integration projects using modern middleware and API platforms.
- Practical experience with AI/ML technologies including model development, MLOps, and production deployment.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and integration patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Strong knowledge of data management principles including MDM, data warehousing, and real-time streaming.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical concepts for executive audiences.
